Photograph specifics: Macro mode 1/800S, ISO100, lens 120mm, aperture 5.6
Month: June

Took a while to get a good shot of this butterfly until it finally landed on a plant.
Got a good shot of it inflight - and with its wings folded. Location of the sighting was on
Forest Road 15 (off of Hwy 126 at Blue River Reservoir) where Tidbits Creek joins with Blue River.
This is the general location where I found a Mourning Cloak.

Habitat: clearings / canyons among evergreen mountains
Season: May - June
