Hardscrabble Creek Falls is 2.8 miles west of Drain.
GPS N43º 39.965', W123º 22.153', Elevation above sea level 250 ft.
Directions:

On Hwy 38 east of Reedsport go to milepost 47.5
Turn north onto County Road 65 (west side of bridge) near a 'Hardscrabble Creek' sign
In a short distance find a wide spot on the side of the road near the creek
Waterfall is visible down the slope of the bank

Waterfall is also visible from the bridge over the creek.
CAUTION: doing this puts you on Hwy 38.

Found this as-yet-unidentified flowering plant on the bank.

Hardscrabble Creek flows into nearby Elk Creek.
