Dome Rock Falls (named for nearest geographic feature) is southeast of Salem.
GPS N44º 45.947', W122º 11.152', Elevation above sea level 2200 ft.
French Creek Road GPS N44º 44.426', W122º 9.361', Elevation 1580 ft
Directions:

  1. On I-5 take Salem exit 253 (Hwy 22) and head east
  2. In appr. 50 miles, and just before a bridge in a 40mph zone, turn left onto French Crk Rd
  3. 2.6 miles up this road Dome Rock Falls appears on the left side of the road
There are camping and boating facilities in the Detroit Lake area.
