Cave Falls* is a roadside waterfall north of Florence.
GPS N43º 7.381', W124º 7.594', Elevation above sea level 270 ft.
Directions:
  1. On Hwy 101 travel north of Florence approximately nine miles
  2. Short distance past the Sea Lion Caves find a wide spot on the
west side of the road. Watch for opposing traffic.
  3. Waterfall will be across the road
Flow is seasonal but is apparently year-round.
Remember to visit the Sea Lion Caves - they are quite talkative.

* No identifiable creek on topo maps flows here - named for nearest geographical feature.

I found some interesting sights at Cape Perpetua (~ 12 miles north of the Sea Lion Caves).
A nice panoramic view; a flower called Rock Cress; helicopter over the Pacific(believe it to be Coast Guard)
